Azerbaijan to start soon search for Eurovision-2013 entry

National selection tour will be held to determine Azerbaijani representative for Eurovision Song Contest 2013, to be held in May, in the city of Malmo, Sweden. 

The date of the selection tour has already been determined, Public Television and Radio Broadcasting Company reported. Near 80 candidates will compete in the selection on live broadcasting of Public television for performing on behalf of Azerbaijan in Eurovision-2013. National preferences will last 8 weeks. The procedure will be held in the same way as every year.  The candidates will demonstrate their performances in the every evening of defined weeks. On Fridays, the winner of 5 days will be defined. At the end, among the winners of weeks the representative of Azerbaijan for Eurovison 2013 will be determined.


The representative will be determined by both audience voting and jury.
