Azerbaijan to join meeting of World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue

A meeting of the international working group of the 2nd World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue will be held in Paris, France.

Azerbaijan`s Deputy Culture and Tourism Minister Sevda Mammadaliyeva will attend the meeting.
The event will bring together representatives of UNESCO and United Nations Alliance of Civilizations, officials of United Nations World Tourism Organization, the Council of Europe, ISESCO and the Council of Europe`s North-South Centre.

The event will see discussions of the programs, conceptual documents and projects of the 2nd World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue. The meeting participants will also discuss organization of the East-West Ministers Conference.

In accordance with the executive order of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, May 27, 2011, the World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue is held once every two years in Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism is responsible for its holding.
