One of the newest and beautiful concert halls of London, Cadogan Hall has hosted a concert of the London Royal Philharmonic Hall which performed Azerbaijani music. The orchestra was conducted by Azerbaijani People’s Artist Yalchin Adigozalov.
The concert was organized by Buta Art Centre within conference Caspian Corridor, dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the International Bank of Azerbaijan. While preparing the program, organizers of the concert together with conductor Adigozalov set the goal to fully deliver the marvelous beauty of the Azerbaijani music to the audience.
The concert began with Azerbaijani capriccio by Fikrat Amirov. The performance took the viewers back to the history of Azerbaijan. Then the orchestra performed pieces from Caravan by Soltan Hajibayov and Seven beauties by Gara Garayev.
The concert also featured the young soloist of the Azerbaijani State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre, Azar Rzazade, who performed Sevgili Canan by Uzeyir Hajibayli, a song about Motherland by Niyazi and the aria of Balash from opera Sevil by Fikrat Amirov.
The viewers also got the opportunity to listen to songs performed with Azerbaijani folk instruments. Thus, Togrul Asadullayev performed the second part of Concert for kamancha by Haji Khanmammadov, and tar player Sahib Pashazade performed Carnation by Vasif Adigozalov.
At the end of the concert, oratory Garabag shikastasi by Vasif Adigozalov was performed.
