Manuscript of Shah Ismail Khatai has been discovered in the library of the city of Wiesbaden, Germany. The manuscript features Shah Ismail Khatai’s rewriting of 100 sayings of Khazret Ali with gold and blue ink.
Next to the manuscript, the unknown calligrapher wrote a translation of the sayings into Farsi ??by elegant handwriting "nastalig."
Only 11 out of 15 pages written on colorful leaves, have survived. The manuscript was reportedly written before Chaldyran battle and was captured by the Ottoman Emperor Selim I during the occupation of Tabriz.
