Azerbaijani singer wins Grand Prix award in Yalta

Azerbaijani singer Jalal Abbasov has won the Grand Prix award in `Eastern Bazaar` international music festival, in Yalta.

The aim of the festival is to strengthen cultural cooperation among European countries and to achieve the unity of Eastern and Western music via the pop artists.

The festival has brought together 31 musicians from 27 countries. The international Eastern Bazaar music festival has been held for the first time in Evpatoria in 2005. Last year Azerbaijan was represented by composer Vugar Jamalzade and singer Ayaz Gasimov.
