Azerbaijani orchestra performs in “Gut Immling” Festival in Germany

 The Orchestra of the Azerbaijan State Opera and Ballet Theatre has performed in the grand final of the “Gut Immling” Festival in Germany on Sunday.

Music pieces by Azerbaijani and world composers were included into the program of the Orchestra conducted by artistic director of Opera Festival Gut Immling Cornelia von Kerssenbrock.
Azerbaijani musicians` cooperation with Gut ?mmling festival has started since 2003.
Prior to the concert, festival director Ludwig Baumann opened the event.

Addressing the festival, Azerbaijani ambassador to Germany Parviz Shahbazov made a speech at the event.

Updating the participants on the history of cooperation of Azerbaijani musicians with Gut Immling festival, the ambassador underlined the significance of the relations in the intercultural dialogue.

Parviz Shahbazov also provided information on the history of music in Azerbaijan, mugham and jazz in the country.
