Days of Azerbaijani culture start in Turkey

Days of Azerbaijani Culture started in Turkey on 17 June. The event was organized in Ankara and Izmir and will end on June 21. Azerbaijani delegation led by Minister of Culture and Tourism Ablufaz Garayev will attend the event.

Today, the opening ceremony of the event will be held in Ankara. Performing will be the Azerbaijan State Chamber Orchestra named after G.Garayev (orchestra is led by People's Artist Teymur Goychayev), Azerbaijan State Dance Ensemble (headed by People's Artist of Azerbaijan Afaq Malikova), soloists: People's Artist Samir Jafarov and Aygun Zeynalova as well as young mugham singer Babak Niftaliyev and Arzu Aliyeva, soloists Sahib Pashazade (tar) and Shirzad Fataliyev (balaban).

The Azerbaijani Art masters, the drama artists and mugham performers will take part at the event. The example of works of Azerbaijan State Art Gallery, State Museum of Azerbaijani Carpet and National Applied Art and State Museum of Music Culture of Azerbaijan will be exhibited within the frame of event in Ankara.

The dresses of the Baku National Costumes House will also be presented during the exhibition.
The works of artists Elbay Rzaquliyev, Kamal Ahmed, Ogtay Shikhaliyev, Gafar Seyfullayev, Davud Kazimov, Eyyub Huseynov, Huseyn Haqverdiyev as well as Emin Asgerov, Anar Huseynzade, Adil Yusifov will be exhibited. Days of Azerbaijani culture will be also held in Izmir.
