"Fly to Baku: Contemporary Art from Azerbaijan" exhibition is spotlight of French magazine

France`s “Madame Figaro” magazine published an article entitled “Azerbaijan in Paris” featuring information on Fly to Baku: Contemporary Art from Azerbaijan" exhibition, and participation of Azerbaijan`s First Lady, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva at the event.

The article underlines that nearly 100 works by 21 Azerbaijani authors were displayed at the exhibition. The author spoke of Mehriban Aliyeva`s contributions to familiarize the French people on Azerbaijan`s realities, culture and art.

The article says that the Paris exhibition proves again that the Azerbaijani people have rich culture. Heydar Aliyev Foundation plays unexampled role in development of Azerbaijan-France ties. A reception given in honor of Azerbaijan`s First Lady after opening of the exhibition serves to strengthen friendship between the two countries.

The article underlines that the French Culture and Communication Minister Frederic Mitterrand, public and political figures of this country, masters of culture and art attended the event.
