Germany's entry for Eurovision 2012 seeks to learn more about Azerbaijan

21-year-old Roman Lob, the German representative of the “Eurovision-2012” song contest intends to learn more about Azerbaijan and its people while staying in Baku. Speaking of the song to be performed in Baku, Lob said he liked “Standing Still” from the very first second. His performance has not been yet worked out, but it is likely to be quite a simple one.

“It was written by Jamie Cullum. This song is about a couple that unfortunately has split. The guy has to accept the fact that his girlfriend has left him,”- he told.

The German participant was selected on February 17th. The jury of the national selection announced the name of Roman Lob. By the way, music is not his main profession. Roman comes from the city of Neustadt (the federal state of Rhineland-Palatinate). He was born on July 2nd, 1990. He’s a mechanic.
