European Broadcasting Union to warn BBC

The European Broadcasting Union held a meeting in Geneva in December 2011 to discuss the Eurovision-2012 Song Contest to be held in Baku, the Turkish news portal Toplumsalhafiza reported.

The preparations for the contest, construction of a concert complex, the issues of visas and communication were discussed at the meeting. After the meeting the union decided that no problems were revealed in the preparation for the contest.

The countries participating in the meeting, stressed that the BBC has been recently conducting a campaign against the "Eurovision" contest to be held in Baku. BBC's campaign greatly damage "Eurovision".

In particular, Damon MacKuins's articles, which were published in "The Times", "The Telgraph", "The Week" were stressed. The meeting decided to send a warning to BBC, which connects some construction operations in Baku with the Eurovision- 2012.
