Azerbaijani film to join int’l festival

Azerbaijani producer Tahir Aliyev is to take part in the 62nd International Berlinale film festival to be held in Berlin on Feb.9-19. The filmmaker is to present his ‘Woman on hold’.

The film chosen among 4300 candidates from 137 countries has won the support  of the film foundations of Europe, including Finland, European Documentary Network (EDN) and the documentary film forum of Europe held in Italian Turin. Woman on hold was shot in Zambian capital Lusaka jointly by the first TV channel of Finland and Chello Multi of Spain.
