Azerbaijan’s industrial sector declines

The production declined by 5% and made 31.2 bln manta in industrial sector of Azerbaijan during January-November, 2011.  According to the  State Statistical Committee, 78% or  24.3 bln manatof industrial production was produced in mining sector, 17% or AZN 5.3 bln - in processing sector, 4.4% or 1.4 bln manat - in electric power, gas and steam production, distribution and supply, 0.6% or 170.7 mln manat- in water supply, cleaning of wastes spheres. Industrial production dropped 8.2% in oil sector during the reporting period, it rose 9.7% in non-oil sector.
