Azerbaijan collects 73% of taxes from private sector

Azerbaijan Ministry of Taxes has received AZN 2 bln 564.1 mln during 6 months of 2011, said the Deputy Minister of Taxes Sahir Mammadkhanov.

According to him, AZN 696.8 mln (27.18%) came from state sector, AZN 1 bln 867.3 mln (72.82%) from non-state sector, up 39% from year earlier. Share of receipts on this sphere rose to 72.8% from 67.1%.

Territorial tax agencies transferred AZN 197.2 mln during the 6 months, upper 22% than forecast, and 26.7% than last year.
