"Each year SOCAR needs 10 thousand new employees"

Each year SOCAR needs 10 thousand new employees, SOCAR Vice President of Human Resources, Regulations and Information Technologies Khalik Mammadov said at the meeting with students.

To him, need for new workers occurs as a result of natural changes: “But generally the number of company employees is not expected to be above 80,000”.

“Mammadov noted that there would be need for new workers in connection with new projects of SOCAR: “Moreover, some thousand people will be needed for construction new petrochemical complex to be established near Baku. 14-15 thousand workers are expected to work in construction of the complex, thereupon, 10-12 thousand people will be provided with permanent work”.
