Azerbaijan increases export to Portugal and Egypt

In January-May, Azerbaijan’s greatest foreign trade partners were Russia and Italy. According to State Customs Committee, Azerbaijan has exported $ 3,823.5 mln-goods to Italy and this makes 36.31% of total export, up 44.25% from year earlier. Next countries for export are France (15.38%), US (7.47%), Russia (4.96%), Ukraine (5.54%), Belarus (3.44%), Malaysia (3.04%), India (2.79%), Israel (2.75%) and Virgin Islands (2.16%). The export to France rose 2.35 times, US – 1.93 times, Russia – 2.15 times, Ukraine – 1.34 times, Belarus – 135 times, India – 1.23 times. Export to Malaysia and Israel decreased by 17% and 63%.

At the same time, the export from Azerbaijan to China declined 10 times, UAE – 5 times, Turkmenistan – 11.6 times, Libya – stopped. Instead of this, export Egypt rose to 4,000 times to % 110 mln, Portugal – 200 times to $ 73 mln.

According to SCC, Azerbaijan has imported most of gods from Russia ($ 647.5 mln). Next countries are Turkey (13.61% of total import), US (8.56%), Germany (7.85%), Ukraine (6.42%), China (6.39%), France (4.51%), Great Britain (3.42%), Kazakhstan (2.76%) and Korea (2.37%).
