GGFR Regional Committee's next meeting to be chaired by SOCAR representative

The next meeting of the Regional Committee of the Global Gas Flaring Reduction public-private partnership (GGFR) will be chaired by the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) Vice President for Ecology Rafiga Huseynzade, SOCAR said on Monday.

The decision was taken at the Regional Committee’s first reporting meeting, held in Baku.

Huseynzade’s candidacy was nominated by the World Bank. The next meeting of the committee will be held in Uzbekistan.
