Ambassador: Dutch and Azerbaijani companies have good opportunities to enhance cooperation

There are good opportunities for cooperation between Dutch companies and their Azerbaijani partners, said in a statement of the Embassy of the Netherlands in Azerbaijan with reference to Dutch Ambassador Arjen Uijterlinde.

Representatives of the Dutch sea trade mission visited Azerbaijan on June 8-10.

During the visit the guests visited shipyards and met with government officials, leadership of oil fleet of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) and Azerbaijani State Shipping Company.

Representatives of the Netherlands attended the Azerbaijani-Dutch Business Forum, where they represented interests of 11,000 Dutch companies.

"Opportunities for enhancing cooperation between the sides is due to the fact the Netherlands have great experience in the field of shipbuilding and dredging. Rotterdam Port is the largest in Europe," Uijterlinde said during the forum.
