
The GUAM Working Group on Transport recommended an agreed version of the "GUAM Transport Corridor Development Concept" to be adopted at the level of the heads, responsible for transport development in the GUAM member-states, GUAM said.
The seventh session of the working group was held in Kiev on May 30-31 under the chairmanship of the Azerbaijani side. The representatives of International Road Transport Union (IRU) in the Eurasian region and the GUAM Secretariat attended the event.
The participants exchanged information on the implementation of the protocol of the sixth meeting of the working group. They discussed the draft "GUAM transport corridor development concept " given the proposals of the Ukrainian side.
The protocol was signed after the meeting. The participants agreed to hold a regular meeting of the group during the second half of 2011.
The exact date and venue of the meeting will be arranged through diplomatic channels.
