IFC Project Manager: Azerbaijan made great progress in improvement of investment atmosphere

"Recently, Azerbaijan has made great progress in improvement of investment atmosphere in the country and reforms are continued", Project manager of the International Finance Corporation Irina Niederberger said.

She highly assessed president’s decree on improvement of investment regime in the country, preparation of law related to business inspections, establishment of unit register of inspections:

"We think that these steps will help to correspond the business with law’s demands. On the other hand, the inspections will decrease administrative burden over both the state and business. At the same time, effectiveness of inspections, maintenance of public safety and etc will increase".

Niederberger noted that the main issue was the simplification of fulfillment of the law by entrepreneurs.
