
The National Fund for Entrepreneurship Support under the Azerbaijani Ministry of Economic Development presented the equipment of the Czech company Dvorak Engineering to promote modern technologies for the bread production, the executive director of the fund Shirzad Abdullayev said.
"At present, the technologies used in the country, are not optimal," he said. We want to familiarize local entrepreneurs with bread production according to the technologies used in the EU countries."
He said that using these technologies in Azerbaijan will contribute to high-quality bread production and reduction of production expenses. It may have an impact on reducing product prices.
Dvorak Engineering head Jaroslav Dvorak said that over 100 medium and large enterprises producing bread in the world are equipped with the equipment produced by the company.
Abdullayev said that at present, the Fund has financed eight investment projects associated with the production of grain worth 89,800 tons per year. About 6.3 million manat have been allocated for implementation. Four projects are related to Baku, other four - the regions of the country.
The largest project is constructing of a plant with capacity of 29,200 tons per year, situated in Bakikhanov settlement.
The plant has been already commissioned.
