Azerbaijan and Iran to sign long-term gas contract

The works in Astara Gas Compressor Station have been completed and gas exchange between Azerbaijan and Iran continues, SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev said.

According to him, Azerbaijani and Iranian specialists conduct negotiations on additional gas for Iran: "After these talks, a long-term contract is planned to be signed and the works on it are underway".
