Azerbaijan to attend meeting of CAREC Transport and Trade Facilitation Committee

On January 27-28, the meeting of Transport and Trade Facilitation Committee of the Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC) Program will be held in Bangkok, Thailand.

According to Ministry of Transport, the issues on development perspectives of CAREC transport corridors, including employment of “a window” principle, development of transport infrastructure, investment projects will be discussed at the meting. At the same time, presentations of the conducted works on the countries, implemented investment projects are expected to be held at the meeting.

Within the event, special presentations on implemented infrastructure projects in transport-road complex, new investment projects are planned to be held. Azerbaijan will be represented by delegation consisting of staffs from Ministries of Economic Development and Transport and State Customs Committee.
