Alternative inflation estimated to reach 11 percent in Azerbaijan

The consumer price index forecasted in January at a rate of 1.3%, February - 1.5%, March - 1.6%, April - 0.5% and May - 0.2%.

The country is expected to decrease the consumer price index by 0.3 and 0.1 percent in June - July, respectively.

Starting from August, Azerbaijan expects price increases by 0.9% in August, 1% - September, 1.2% - October, 1.4% - November and 1.5% - December. According to  the government forecasts, the inflation rate is expected to reach five percent in 2011.
