Suraxani Oil cleans contract area

Suraxani Oil operating company collected 597 cubic meters of industrial wastes accumulated around different wells and facilities within the action plan to protect the environment, a statement posted on the official website of SOCAR's ecology department.

According to the information, the work is underway to drain various pools, located in the contract area. The working areas of eight wells were cleaned from emissions accumulated over a long time, and from the remnants of the old equipment in January-September. Special storage facilities were created to preserve pollutants accumulated in the wells.
