Azerbaijan to produce jeeps

According to director of plant Musa Abdullayev, the plan plans to produce the Lifan cars with automatic gearbox.

“We are conducting talks with China. The prices of Lifan cars with automatic gearbox will be AZN 800-1000 higher than before we produced”, Abdullayev explained.

Note that the Lifan cars produced by NAP were sold for AZN 8 200-13 000. The plant is expected to produce off-road (jeep) cars from next year. According to Abdullayev, the volume of engine will be 2.4-2.7 litres. At the same time the talks are being conducted with European car Plants for production of Lifan cars.

Note that NAP has produced 451 Lifan cars since the beginning of 2010. The production is expected to be reached 600-650 by the end of this year.
