SOCAR expands cooperation with BP's partner on environmental issues

The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) keeps on fostering co-operation with BP on environmental issues. The SOCAR reported that Complex Research Laboratory of the SOCAR Environmental Department`s Eco-Monitoring Office has signed a co-operation agreement with Denmark`s AquaMilijo Caspian AS, a partner of BP Azerbaijan.

Under the agreement, the Danish company will share its experience and technologies for realization of its projects by the Laboratory. These projects include environmental monitoring of onshore and offshore drilling operations.

AquaMilijo Caspian AS's new manager Nils Skebe visited the laboratory to discuss future cooperation prospects. He said the company is going to participate in the projects in the Caspian Sea region.
