Azerbaijan officially approves Euro-2 standards

Azerbaijan State Standardization, Metrology and Patents Committee has adopted Euro-2 standards, the state committee said.
“Requirements on emissions of pollutants by motor vehicles operating on the territory of the Azerbaijan Republic” was approved upon the order of the committee chief Ramiz Hasanov on June 22nd.

The Azerbaijan Cabinet of Ministered signed "An Action plan to bring requirements on emissions of pollutants by motor vehicles operating on the territory of the Azerbaijan Republic in line with European standards” on March, 2010.
