Azerbaijan, China discuss cooperation in banking sector

Chairman of Azerbaijan Central Bank Elman Rustamov met governor of the People's Bank of China Zhou Xiaochuan on May 31.
They discussed the bilateral cooperation in banking sector. Xiaochuan highlighted financial reforms in China.

Rustamov in turn informed the chief of the Chinese People's Bank on Azerbaijan's economic situation and banking sector. He stressed the importance of boosting cooperation between the Azerbaijani and Chinese central banks.

Rustamov stressed “monetary resources and stability of the national currency create a reliable basis for deepening economic cooperation between our countries”.
