International conference on Azerbaijan's investment opportunities in Germany

An international conference titled “Azerbaijan – the country of investments” sponsored by the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR), commenced in Frankfurt am Main, Germanyon May 19.

The conference is held in the frame of Global Business Weak. It was opened by Nader Maleki, head of the Maleki Group.

With welcoming speeches to participants of the conference addressing was the ambassador of Azerbaijan in Germany Parviz Shahbazov, the honorable consul of Azerbaijan in Stuttgart Otto Hauzer and the chairman of commercial and industrial chamber of Frankfurt Jurgen Ratzinger. Representatives of the business circles of Azerbaijan and the EU countries take part in conference.

In Conference, reporting is expected the deputy minister of the industry and energy of Azerbaijan Natig Abbasov, the adviser of SOCAR president Murad Heydarov, the head of department of development of business of the Ministry of economic development of Azerbaijan Zaur Gasymov, the assistant to the chief executive of Azerbaijan Investment Company Zaur Mammadov, the chief executive of East Department of the State Economic Committee of Germany Dr. Rainer Lindner, the senior adviser of department of tourism of the ministry of culture and tourism of Azerbaijan Gunay Faradova and the chairman of board of the German-Azerbaijan economic forum, the head of representation of Kommerz-Bank in Azerbaijan Marko Gaff.
