Azerbaijan's economic achievements presented in Genoa

The event was organized by the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Italy under the patronage of Ms. Margarita Kosta, Honorary Ambassador of Azerbaijan in Genoa. Official representatives of almost 40 Italian corporations, operating in Liguria, participated in the event.

Mr. Franco Aprile, Head of Liguria International, Mr. Pietro Kosta, President of the World Trade Center of Genoa, Ms. Margarita Kosta, Honorary Ambassador of Azerbaijan in Genoa, Mr. Paolo Odone, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Genoa, representatives of SIMEST Association attended the presentation.

The Ambassador Emil Kerimov described the successful economic policy of Azerbaijan and prospects for the development of business ties between Azerbaijan and Italy. Mr. Franco Aprile, addressing the presentation, dwelled on the non-oil industry of Azerbaijan, including shipbuilding, tourist and transport. Mr. Pietro Kosta, Ms. Margarita Kosta, Mr. Paolo Odonealso delivered speeches at the presentation.

A short documentary ‘Welcome to Azerbaijan’ produced by ‘Lider’ TV channel, was screened after the official part of the ceremony. The participants were presented books “Bellissima Baku”, “Baku e Napoli” and other materials published by the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Italy.
