Third Caspian energy forum due in Moscow

Third Caspian Energy Forum will take place in Moscow`s Center of International Trade on 23 March.
The event is to be organized by the ministries of foreign affairs, natural resources and ecology of Russia, trade-industry chamber and Russian academy of sciences, the CIS Executive Committee said.

One of the key goals of the Forum is the practical realization of connecting factor of the Caspian Sea in the energy sphere.

To this end, special attention in the forthcoming forum will be given to the questions of development of the atomic and renewable energy resources of the Caspian region, development and realization of joint exploration programs, expansion of cooperation and partnership in development of energy resources, construction and modernization of the gas transport infrastructures, oil-gas production and processing facilities.

Forum's program includes consideration of proposals on development of adjacent spheres of economy of the Caspian region on the base of realization of prospective ideas, technology and application of advanced equipment, including measures on preservation of bio-diversity of flora and fauna of the Caspian.
