Oman 'keen' to expand trade and economic cooperation with Azerbaijan

Oman is keen to expand trade and economic cooperation with Azerbaijan, Yousef bin Alawi bin Abdullah, Oman`s Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs, told Azeri Prime Minister Artur Rasizadeh.

The two stressed the importance of expanding the legal base for bilateral cooperation, and emphasized the necessity of soonest ratification of documents regulating mutual business activities.

Yousef bin Abdullah praised an agreement between the two countries on air communication.

Rasizade thanked the Omani government for supporting Azerbaijan`s stance concerning the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict on the international level.

The Azeri Premier expressed assurance the reciprocal opening of the two countries` embassies would contribute to expanding their bilateral relations.
