Azerbaijan attends International Association of Insurance meeting

The State Insurance Supervision Service of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Finance said being a full member of the above-listed Association since 2006 Azerbaijan was represented there by Zaka Mirzayev, the head of the Department of Financial and Insurance Market Regulation.

A general meeting of the IAIS member organizations was held following the conference.

The meeting participants adopted certain decisions.

“In particular it was decided to accept new members and hold regular conferences in Dubai in 2010 and in the U.S. in 2012,” the same source said.

The conference involved 505 representatives of the IAIS member organizations from more than 100 countries.
