SOCAR president meets with UK energy minister

At the meeting Rovnag Abdullayev spoke about the development of relations between the two countries, especially in the energy sector.

According to him, the United Kingdom always gave support to Azerbaijan for the implementation of the Contract of Century signed in 1994.

He briefed the British delegation about the energy projects undertaken in Azerbaijan.

Lord Hunt said that his country will continue to support the transportation of Azerbaijani hydrocarbons to Europe.

The parties hold discussion on the export of Azerbaijani gas to Europe, and prospects of Nabucco and TGI projects, SOCAR said in a statement.
