World oil prices reach $69 per barrel

Oil quotations on Asian stock exchanges reached $69 per barrel on July 27.
Investors were assured of the end of the world recession which helped to compensate for a weak oil demand.

As of 09:40 Baku time, September futures on American light oil increased 63 cent to settle at $68.68 per barrel. This contract added 89 cent to settle at $68.05 per barrel which was the highest closing since the July 1.

The September futures on Brent rose 57 cent to settle at $70.89 per barrel.
