Armenia’s imports surpass exports more than 4 times

Imports reduced 27.5 percent compared to the same period of 2008 and totalled 479.9 billion drams.

According to the National Statistics Agency, Armenia’s foreign trade turnover totalled 578.8 billion drams in January-June 2009, a drop of 31.5 percent from 2008.

Deficit of the foreign trade turnover amounted 381 billion drams in January-June 2009.
