Azerbaijan’s communication services grew 12 percent in Q1 2009

In January-July 2009, Azerbaijan’s communication sector rendered services worth 468.3 million manat, a rise of 12.3 percent from the same period of 2008, the State Statistics Committee said.
The sales of communication sector totalled $585.3 million during this period.

The population was provided with communication services worth 365.4 million manat.

In 2008, sales in communication sector totaled 990.5 million manat.
