Industry and Energy Minister: By 2015-2020-Azerbaijan will produce 40 bln cu m of gas, while maximal oil production will hit 65 mln tons

"New investment projects are needed for the Caspian Sea. Exploration in the Caspian region is too difficult and therefore international corporations and investors should unite in this issue. The Caspian region needs about 200 bln of investments. The ACG project showed that the forecasts on investments might change. Thus initially they were 8 bln dollars, yet they made 20 bln dollars in process of investment", noted he.

In addition, the Minister noted that Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Russia and Iran must implement joint projects. According to him, they must unite to ensure the flow of investment in the Caspian region.
