Azneft puts into operation new oil well at Neft Dashlary

"Well number 2285 was drilled from platform number 1887. The well depth exceeds 2000 meters, and daily production is 90 tons of oil. To stabilize oil production from Neft Dashlary field there is a plan to drill 21` wells this year", says the statement.

According to SOCAR, platform No 1887 was put into operation in 2006 and is designed for drilling 36 wells, each with a production rate expected to be 20-30 tons of oil a day. In just three years 15 wells was drilled from this platform of which 13 wells with a daily rate of 400 tons have already been launched.
