Export from Azerbaijan to Latvia increases 1/3: foreign minister

In 2008, the export from Azerbaijan to Latvia reached 30 percent, and from Latvia to Azerbaijan increased twice, Latvian Foreign Minister Maris Riekstins said at the Azerbaijani-Latvian business-forum in Baku.
Latvia invested 200 million euro to Azerbaijan's economy.

According to Riekstins, Latvian businessmen have a great interest in the tourism sphere in Azerbaijan, as well as in the banking sector, food industry, especially in bakery and dairy.

Azerbaijani and Latvian are seeking for new business-projects.

The Azerbaijani-Latvian business-forum is attended by 60 Azerbaijani entrepreneurs from different spheres of economy and 20 Latvian companies.
