USAID and Azerbaijan's Finance Ministry sign memo of mutual understanding on joint financing

While signing the document, intended for three years and estimated at $45 mln, Azerbaijan's Finance Minister Samir Sharifov and USAID director on Azerbaijan Scott Taylor undertook to finance projects of economic reforms and development.

Under the said agreement, the Azerbaijani government will provide assistance in the amount of $20.7 mln and USAID in the amount of $24.3 mln. These funds will be used for implementation of projects of economic reformation and development in such spheres, as trade and investments, costs reformation, competition of private sector and the social economic development of the regions.
