Stability of deliveries and ensuring security of transportation of energy are important factors of global economic development: Azerbaijan’s Energy Minister

Stability of deliveries and ensuring security of transportation of energy resources to the world markets will be the most important and essential factor of the sustainable development of the world economy and separate countries and meet the interests of the international community over the next few years, mentioned in the support letter by the Minister of Industry and Energy of Azerbaijan Natig Aliyev to the Confidence Energy, organizer of the 3rd Caspian Oil and Gas Trading and Transportation Conference.

In his letter, the Minister appreciated the role of conference in the development of the economy of the Caspian countries. The event will give an opportunity devise grounded recommendations regarding further strengthening of co-operation in the region, the message says.

Tengizchevroil (Kazakhstan), Transneft, AGIP, Total, Gunvor, Batumi Oil Terminal,  Batumi Oil Port, SOCAR Georgia, The Caspian Pipeline Consortium (Kazakhstan), Novorossiysk Shipping Company, Hellenic Petroleum, Golden Eagle, Karajanbasmunay, Lotos Group, Turkmen Caspian Lines, RWE Gas Midstream, Mercuria Energy Trading, BNP Paribas, BTB Capital and other companies are among those registered at the conference.

During their speeches, leading energy experts will assess the role of the Caspian Sea hydrocarbon resources on the global energy market in the short and medium term.

The Caspian Oil and Gas Trading and Transportation Conference is a site annually bringing together oil-and-gas leaders and specialists and promoting development and strengthening of international cooperation. The conference is an important information source in the region, where the strategic interests of major energy consuming countries meet.

The 3rd conference will involve over 150 representatives of oil-and-gas sector of the Caspian littoral countries - Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Russia, Iran; traditional regional partners - Turkey, Georgia, Ukraine, Romania, Bulgaria, as well as participants from the U.S., EU and Asia-Pacific region.
