Igbal Aghazade: "Azerbaijan is unable to reduce prices on energy sources"

He said it is possible to reduce prices on energy sources, but the price on the internal market should be taken into account. In the result it will become clear that prices in Azerbaijan are no lower than on the world market.

"For example, the price of a cubic meter of gas is $40. Can we hope for real reduction of gas prices in such a situation?

Naturally, the government could have taken several actions to reduce fuel prices, but it seems to secure itself, considering the crisis", noted Aghazade.

It should be reminded that the Democratic Party of Azerbaijan  as well as three parties, including the Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan, Liberal Party of Azerbaijan and the Civil Development Party, represented in the Azadlyg bloc, demanded to reduce prices on energy sources.
