Osman Gunduz: "Cost of internet in Azerbaijan is 20-40 times higher than in neighbor states"

He said they have clarified the information about the cost of internet in neighbor states and compared these indicators with tariffs on the Azerbaijani market.

"In particular, unlimited internet in Turkey with 1 MegaBit traffic costs $10 in average. The cost of internet has recently dropped in Turkey. At the same time, on the Russian market the internet services make $15-20 in average", said he.

According to Gunduz, in Azerbaijan even after the Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies, unlimited internet, offered by Aztelekom state provider, costs AZN 500, while private providers have set a tariff in the amount of AZN 300.

"In the result, in average, cost of unlimited network on the internet market of Azerbaijan reaches $400-450", concluded he.
