Heydar Babayev: "Azerbaijan is interested in investing to Cuban tourism"

The press service for the Economic Development Ministry told Day.Az that the sides discussed prospects of bilateral cooperation.

Babayev noted that there are real opportunities for development of economic ties between the two countries. It was noted that in November of 2007 a group of Azerbaijani entrepreneurs took part in the second regional business-forum in Havana.

During the exhibition, the Cuban side demonstrated interest to production of Azerbaijan. The Minister stressed need to continue these arrangements and expand ties between entrepreneurs.

Bessera voiced satisfaction with cooperation with Azerbaijan.

He reminded that a delegation of Cuban oil specialists, who were able to familiarize with the oil industry of Azerbaijan, visited Baku in April.

During the meeting the sides discussed prospects of cooperation in the sphere of production of household electronics, tourism, health, education and others.

Babayev displayed interest in Azerbaijani investments to Cuban tourism.
