
Gross domestic product – the output of goods and services produced by labor and property in Azerbaijan - grew 15%, year-over-year, during the January-April, to AZN 11.2 billion, said the State Statistical Committee.
Per capital GDP went up to AZN 1 310.6 ($1 560.4).
GDP growth was 17.2% in oil & gas sector and 11.5% in non-oil sector.
The share of production rose to 74.1%, including 66.6% in industry, 6.2% in construction, 1.3% in agriculture, hunting and forestry while the share of service was 18.4%.
Of the value added in services, 20.6% was formed in transport, 8.5% in postal and communications, 29.6% in retail and wholesale trade, repair of vehicles and household appliances, 4.3% in hotel and restaurant services, 37% in social services.
Net tax on products and imports accounted for 7.5% of GDP.
