Guneshli gas extraction rises by 62%

Day.Az reports with reference to the press service for SOCAR that the indicator of the same period of the last year made up 10.9 and 9.7 mln cubic meters.

On the whole, through four months of this year the field has produced 2.1 bln cubic meters of gas with 1.9 bln cubic meters transferred to the state. At the same time, the same indicator of the last year was 1.3 and 1.2 bln cubic meters. The gas extraction in the field has thus risen by 62%.

It should be noted that partners on Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli fields are BP (operator-34.1%), Chevron (10.2%), SOCAR (10%), INPEX (10%), StatoilHydro (8.6%), ExxonMobil (8%), TPAO (6.8%), Devon (5.6%), ITOCHU (3.9%), Hess (2.7%).
