Representative of UN World Food Program: "The food crisis will affect Azerbaijan as well"

The due announcement was made by representative of the UN World Food Program in Azerbaijan Lin Miller Tuesday.

Miller also noted that the rise in prices will create difficulties for the activity of the world food program.

She said  in the result of the world food crisis another 100,000 people will need food aid.

"For the resolution of the said problem, the United Nations have requested additional $800 mln. from donor countries", said she.
