Baku Metro may raise fares 11 times next year

Baku Metro Chief taghi Ahmadov told APA-Economics that prices will not change this year.

"We said in our proposals to the Tariff Council that the cost price of transporting one passenger is 55 kopecks. The Tariff Council will consider the proposals at the end of this year and will fix prices for next year. The Tariff Council may also keep fares unchanged," he added.

The fare per passenger is 5 kopecks at present while Baku Metro says transporting one passenger costs it 55 kopecks.
