Zagatala airport in Azerbaijan has been tested after completion of reconstruction overhaul, APA Bureau quoted the regional airport chief Nizami Babayev as saying.

"After a long break, the airport has today been tested. AzAL’s ATR 42-500 aircraft successfully test-landed in the airport four times. The airport is ready to open", he added.
Zagatala Airport, built in 1974, was shut down in 1996. The airport will reopen in May or June this year.
